INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the website for the CENTRAL BERGEN BICYCLE & PEDESTRIAN PLANS for eight municipalities (Elmwood Park, Fair Lawn, Glen Rock, Maywood, Paramus, Ridgewood, Rochelle Park & Saddle Brook) in the Central Bergen area.

The plans will identify safety and mobility enhancements that can encourage more walking and bicycling in these eight communities. These plans will also guide the County’s efforts to create COMPLETE STREETS and identify priority roads and links for improving/enhancing bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure.

Please use the links above to learn more about the project and get involved by submitting your comments using the Contact Us page and providing your valuable insights using the interactive map.

The Plans are being developed by Bergen County, with funding from the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA).
